chicken & dumplings

through the alibis of time's demise
love me for my lows, & my highs
lead, or follow me down the road
where, there's more hellos, than bye byes
more, i'm wonderfuls, than, i'm fines
no surprises, no hidden innuendos disclosed
just the clearest, sincerest prose, divulged
through my eyes
the windows to my soul
makes you long to elope, with my mind
i can be wrong, i suppose; my pride's
not foolish, nor on the line
my rules is, to live for the love of you
uninfluenced, by what others do
my, i love you’s, are like music
& come in multiples of two
to suppress your defenses
so your apprehensions, are comfortably removed
you’re feeling sensuous; sexually adventurous, & enthused
to where, what you’re wearing, makes an exodus
as you're wooed, out your dresses & your shoes
my lips, functioning like finger tips
intense sensations, rushing in like a blitz, or penetration
making its way, tracing, down your mane to your hips
lonely butterfly; only love of mine
in the past, now, in another life
hold me; a cuddle’s fine
guzzle my wine, to drunken, like brass monkey
the sweet nothings, in your thumper
turning you into something, scrumptious
like supper; like, your mother's chicken & dumplings
pumpkin, you're my pie
the apple of my eye
slide this napkin on your thighs
& feast on every piece of my desires
