good night, never good bye

salutestill

this next chapter's in italics
the ambiance is violins, insinuating sirens
subtle as violence, incinerated in silence
cuddled in time when, time was, an afterthought
after all, laughter calls, & catapults, the youth within
till collisions, filled with euphemisms, break through the skin
where to begin
my iris drifts within a pseudonym
taking pictures of chics
with poems on what i wanna do to them
& say & such
then say good night, never good bye just stay in touch
never could i, sever a tie, even when i'm, instigating
orphaned today; still i love him, not hate him
not at all convinced that i ain't him
intimidating, from my candor & manner, to how i philander
still i, 21 gun salute him
semper fi', big guy; see you when i die
you, mom & i'll, reunite at the family reunion
i guess, God knows what He's doing
not always convinced
fact is, that's sacrilegious
like me, when you see Him, just ask for forgiveness
& tell mom i miss her; then hug her & kiss her

                                        good night, never good bye
