i’m remembering love... listen closely

mostly, we jones for our own, Nina Mosely

poetry cozying through the rotary while we’re dozing

but won’t go to sleep; you go to sleep… no, you go to sleep

that’s not loyal... good night’s not loyalty

woke up tangled in the coil, & dreamt you were holding me

crates of mixtapes, dedicated to you only… & whoever you replaced

i’ve drawn your name & your face, in graffiti

everywhere, every place; didn’t care who could see me

like that first time you escaped your bikini

we smashed to Whodini, One Love & Jodeci’s Feenin’

from the back, the claps sound like cheers & applauds

from you screaming with yeah’s, & not nah’s

yeses are dressed with more pleasant fonts

this is a necklace, caressed like, harmonicas

or women who could mirror image, Monica

or if you haven’t been, glimpse in, on how to cum

i’ve eclipsed when i’ve been nautica

setting sail after we, Netflix & chill

like ma, i gotta run...

now it’s like... to the store, we’re out rum

or, for what ever you want, when ever you want

everything for you, from me’s, urgent than a muthafucka

quoting movies, & splurging haikus cause i want to

perpetually, let you know, you’re especially, more than special to me

since i met you & me; it’s been like kids saying, “weeee...”

it’s always yes, to where to next

so, grab your coat & let’s flex, exceptionally
