undress her

pouring stanzas from my chest
passion crashing like thunder; causing the hunger
of courting damsels in distress; one after another
cheers to eye candy in a dress; or something less
not one to wonder, or question my preference
just love hard & relentless
protect & provide
make sure she laughs, smiles, & not cries
& when she looks in the sky
all the stars are impressive
keep her battle scars, buried far
in the sock drawer of the dresser
using charm & my arms to caress her
from here on, my mantra on my mirror's
focus through pressure
it makes the picture come clearer
while hope opens up pleasure
& veers us where we're sincere
picking the locks, to reopen her heart
exposing her treasures
like the goonies; or any other movie
that's dark as the desert
but then, makes you smile at the end
like, when you undress her

                                      undress her
